Corvette Launches OEM Right Hand Drive
General Motors
A high-energy sizzle reel capturing the historic rollout of the first factory-built right-hand drive C8 Corvettes, produced for global promotion to excite overseas buyers.

In 2021, Vid Monster partnered with the General Motors Corvette Assembly plant to capture the first right-hand drive C8 Corvettes rolling off the assembly line. Up to that point, Corvette owners in Australia, Japan, the UK had to do conversions to be able to put the steering column in the right hand front seat. That all changed in 2021, when Corvette began the process of assembling factory-made Corvettes with right hand drive. We were hired to spend 48 consecutive hours at the plant capturing this milestone. This video piece is an "energy sizzle" that captures each part of the process. This was used globally to allow overseas dealers to get their buyers excited about the OEM RH Drive vehicles that were soon to ship their way. Vid Monster proudly supports Corvette, the National Corvette Museum, and their direct connections to Bowling Green's automotive heritage.
